Inside the L.A. studio where songs have their sounds rearranged in a sphere all around the listener’s ears—even when they’re wearing regular headphones. I’m sitting in the middle of a Live Nation mixing studio in Hollywood, surrounded by speakers—some low against the wall, some perched higher up.
